Got cut w/ glass how to stop bleeding?

alright so my sister being stupid as she is threw a frame at me and the glass cut me so know i have two small holes in my leg that wont stop bleeding i already ran it under water drenched it in alcohol and am putting pressure onto it with cotton balls any other advice?! thank you p.s my mom wasnt home but now she is and is pretty mad and isnt much help also i dont want it getting infected any advice on that too?
