Indie/ Folk French song playing at Aerie?

I was at Aerie last week and I heard a really pretty French song. The singer was female and the song sounded somewhat similar to Regina Spektor. It wasn't techno or anything. Just guitar maybe some piano and whistling (?) and a girl's voice. The beat sounded familiar so maybe it was a cover of an American song? I've been searching for EVER. I found a list of songs on the Aerie Summer 2011 playlist, however instead of having the song I am looking for there was just "? (not sure, but it's in french)" FML. Yeah, so please, please, PLEASE help me out. This has been bugging the crap out of me. I wish I had more details for you. Sorry. Any suggestions are appreciated. (:
