I feel really hot but other people say its a comfortable temperature?

The other day I was at the store with my mom and I started sweating like you wouldn't believe, and I was so hot I felt like I could die. When we got to the car I was complaining because I wanted to go home and cool off. My mom said I was probably getting sick and had me touch her arm and it felt really cool compared to my skin. At the time she was even wearing jeans and a tshirt and I had on loose shorts and a tanktop. She touched my forehead to see if I had a fever and it was drenched in sweat. I don't feel sick at all.. What do you guys think? Am I sick? What kind of sickness? Thanks.
