Is it a problem if the girl you like doesn't have same taste in music?

She likes indie pop...while I like RNB, pop, reggae, chillout, house and country music more. She hangs out with guys that are like thouse douchebags in music bands. While I hang out with people thats more...normal... I think I really like this girl, but her world, the people she hangs with, the things she enjoys are soo different. It's not things that I can't grow to enjoy but it'll take time. Who understands where I'm coming from, what's your input on this?
