My cat keeps peeing plz help?

I have a cat about 1 1/2 years old He was adopted from humane society 10 mo. ago since then he has had an upper respiratory infection, and some kind of infection in his mouth that we took him to the vet for there was a huge lump on his jaw they game him a shot of some antibiotics and that when it started. He wouldn't eat (prob from lump on jaw looked painful and med maybe upset tummy) and he peed on my toddlers bedding then hid under me bed both of which he had never done. then he started go in back to normal for a few months, until a week ago when he climbed on my kids foam couch and peed on it (right in front of me AND WITH MY SON SITTING ON IT) and the past two days I have found a laundry basket with our dirty clothes drenched in urine, and another laundry basket of clean clothes peed on and with a small piece of poop as well I don't know what to do we are being forced to move in with family and they will make us get rid of him if he does this at there house, any suggestions?
