Big budget or indie films ?

The movie industry is big business. It is not concerned with the subjects necessarily chosen by independent movie makers who have small budgets and little distribution opportunities. The two are separate endeavours. On the odd occasion a big studio will dip its toe but only because it smells money. See The Blair Witch Project, Desperado.and in the theatre Hairspray.
